This series focuses on blockaded facilities in Hong Kong during the pandemic; the twisted and tangled tapes are a powerful symbol of prohibition. Spaces meant for joy are replaced by a heavy silence. These photographs serve not only as archival records of a specific period but also meditate on the abruptly suspended state of human social activity.
